So you’re interested in hosting a Fiber Embellishments trunk show…

One of our favorite ways to market is through private trunk shows given by friendly people. We find that in addition to being highly successful, they’re also lots of fun. A Fiber Embellishments trunk show looks a lot like a party -- with a charming gift shop full of attractive, limited-edition merchandise!

We’ve found that what works best is an open house on a weekend afternoon. The ideal menu is finger nibbles with wine and a non-alcoholic alternative.

Invite anyone you think might be interested in our merchandise, keeping in mind that typically at most half of invitees actually attend. If some or all of the guests know each other, so much the better!

It’s great if you can enlist a friend or two for help with setting up beforehand and cleaning up afterward.

• WHAT WE PROVIDE:
  • an event-prep time line
  • all merchandise and what’s needed to display it, which we set up beforehand and take down afterward
  • custom-printed postcard invitations (with your return address), and postage
  • knowledgeable, friendly personnel
  • one or more display tables, if you don’t have them


• WHAT YOU PROVIDE:
  • the location
  • the guests
  • the refreshments
  • parking (including permit passes, etc.)
  • background music (always nice)
  • something to serve refreshments on


• WHAT YOU RECEIVE:
  • 20% of sales in merchandise of your choice!
